LeBron James Becomes 7th NBA Player to Score 30K Career Points

Basket superstar LeBron James

SAN ANTONIO–King James, the basketball genius has done it again, by elevating his greatness.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has cemented his standing as an all-time great late in the first quarter of Tuesday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs at AT&T Center.

With less than three seconds remaining in the period to conclude the game, James hauled up from a few steps inside the three-point arc and drained a jumper to eclipse 30,000 career points.

James, a three-time champion became the seventh player to join the 30,000-point club and the youngest ever to reach that milestone.

Others who did join the club prior include Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant at 34 years, 104 days. James bettered that mark by a year and 80 days.

His long-time teammate and long friend Dwyane Wade was the first person to celebrate with James on the court following the first quarter. James also received an ovation from many in AT&T Center.
