Namibia’s U20 Cup planned for Easter weekend

ADDIS ABABA – Reports from Namibia say the country’s annual under-20 football and netball tournament, the Namibian Newspaper Cup, is planned to take place during Easter weekend which starts from April 19 to 22.

 According to Namibia Football Association (NFA) on Monday, the cup, which brings together elite athletes from Namibia’s 14 regions, will be hosted in Mariental, from the Hardap Region.

Late last year, Hardap region was chosen to host the 2019 edition of the much-anticipated regional competition, defeating other regions such as Oshana and Karas.
