Nigerian Model Omotayo Launches New Fashion Line

Nigerian model and fashion stylist Tania Omotayo launched her own clothing line on Monday at the “Cocktails & Shopping” event at Sao Café in Lagos.

Some of Omotayo’s close friends were there in support, including Nigerian-born singer Lola Rae and Nigerian music star Tekno.  According to Rae, Omotayo’s Ziva Lagos collection sold out at the launch.

Other stars showed up at the event like movie actress Rukky Sanda.  Sanda admired the hard work that the 24-year-old put into the clothing line.

Omotayo claimed that this has been something she’s wanted to do for a long time but didn’t before because she had always felt discouraged.

“Every blessing in my life started with someone telling me what I cannot do, but my God is a faithful God,” said Omotayo.  “I’ve exceeded my own expectations and I cannot be more thankful.”

She expressed that at 24 years of age she’s already making her dreams come true.
