Hollywood stars and Holly-famers, including real big names like talk show queen Oprah Winfrey and Lady B or Mrs. Carter (Beyoncé) will be descending on the US state of Texas to raise funds for victims of the Hurricane Harvey.

CNN has first reported news about the star-studded benefit for Texans affected by Hurricane Harvey.  According to the cable news giant, “Hand In Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief” will air live from Los Angeles, New York and Nashville on September 12.

Sources say viewers will watch the telethon on all major TV and news network such as NBC, CBS, ABC, CMT and Fox. The event will also be accessible for viewing on some of main social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Lady Carter (Beyoncé), Barbra Streisand, George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Blake Shelton, and Reese Witherspoon will grace the events with their presence.

In the past few days, the US Gulf Coast experienced marathon flooding that resulted from hurricane Harvey, which touchdown last week and left about 53 people dead and hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage.

CNN reported that several celebrities have already stepped up with donations, including actress Sandra Bullock who gave $1 million to the American Red Cross.

Organizers say funding from the planned benefit concert will support United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Feeding Texas, and Direct Relief.

The telethon is expected to air live on the East Coast beginning at 8 p.m. and replay on the West Coast at 8 p.m.
