President Kagame: We don’t follow rules, we follow choices. There is no rule book for us

NEW YORK – Africa has had few good presidents and many bad presidents and other leaders.  In today’s Africa, corruption and ineptitude continue to hunt and downplay many of the leaders on the continent.

However, one leader, Paul Kagame of Rwanda, stands out as the best president in modern Africa.

In video interview, President Kagame speaks about Rwanda charting its own path:

We don’t follow rules, we follow choices. There is no rule book for us. If things work for us, we celebrate. If they don’t, we don’t blame anybody. We look back and ask where did we go wrong.

The Rwandan leader spoke at a business leadership meeting in Charlotte at a gathering hosted by @HiingaInc.
