Herzogenaurach, Germany- Sales data emanating from around the world suggests that global music star Rihanna’s endorsement has elevated the sales of Puma’s fashion’s company marketing success.
Puma, the German-based sporting goods maker reported a strong growth in profit for the third quarter. Per reliable sources, the global sporting conglomerate attributed its sales rise to its relationship with singer Rihanna and some sponsorships from top athletes.
It can be recalled that Puma also succeeded in winning a sponsorship from Usain Bolt, the powerful Jamaican sprinter who won three gold medals at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
Puma’s sales appeared to have a global uptick that has brought in earning around 39.5 million euros ($43 million) during the July to September sales period. This growth level marks a near 99-percent increase over the same three months a year prior.
All marketing regions appeared to have increased sales growth, with massive purchase power in North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Few years ago, Puma was losing customers and sales, as many of its products were not attracting buyers, but with Rihanna’s endorsement through her new Fenty’s puma collection and products, the company products are now a hot cake, and sales have skyrocketed.
Although puma makes other fashion products such as clothing and accessories, sources say shoes seem to be the best-performing product for the company.
